HSE First Aid at Work Qualification

This is the only First Aid Qualification that is approved by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). The certificate will be issued by NUCO training (www.NUCO-training.co.uk) an HSE approved Company.

How long is the course?
The course is 24 hours long and is usually run over 4 consecutive days but can be run one day a week over 4 weeks or 2 days a week over 2 weeks daytime or weekends.

What is the maximum number of students allowed on one course?
There is a maximum of 12 students allowed on one course. The minimum is up to you.

How are students assessed?
There will be a written assessment on the final day which is assessed by the tutor and also 3 practical assessments which are carried out by 2 independent assessors.

Students must pass the written paper to progress onto the practical assessment and all sections must be passed to gain the qualification.

Is there a certificate awarded at the end of the course?
All successful students will be awarded an HSE Approved First Aid at Work Qualification which is currently valid for 3 years.
