First Aid Courses

We offer several first Aid courses. Emergency First Aid qualifies you as a First Aider for three years with the ability to use a first aid kit and have an understanding of relevant health and safety. Paediatric First Aid covers a broad range of emergency scenarios that can be faced by people responsible for the welfare of children and qualifies you to deal with these sorts of situations. Defibrillation offers an add-on course on CPR.

First Aid At Work

The IQL Level 3 First Aid at Work Qualification covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illness.
This three-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment

Paediatric Aid

This qualification is aimed at those who wish to become a Paediatric First Aider in the workplace. The course offers instruction covering a broad range of emergency scenarios that can be faced by people responsible for the welfare of infants and children. Persons gaining this qualification will know that first aid is the responsibility of everyone involved in the working environment. This course is recommended for anyone working, or preparing to work, in an early years environment. It is also very useful to anyone responsible for the safety of children

Emergency First Aid

One day RLSS course covering emergency first aid in the workplace. You will be qualified as an Appointed Person for three years, have the ability to use a first aid kit, provide reassurance and otherwise assist in emergencies and have an understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and the principles of record keeping.

Heart start and Defibrillation courses

This is course is for anyone wishing to further develop their first aid knowledge and will cover the safe use of an automated external defibrillator. By the end of the course candidates will be able to demonstrate basic life support techniques using and automated external defibrillator and be able to carry out basic maintenance and troubleshoot problems.
Candidates will develop competence in CPR, casualty management and using an Automated External Defibrillator. This qualification lasts for two years.
